Did you see Best Buy’s Super Bowl ads last night? If you haven’t, you should give them a watch. They feature the creators of Instagram, Shazam, and Square to name a few. Tastefully done and a joy to see.

Apple Scotland’s Funny Siri Ad
Link
Sure, it may not be the real thing but this hypothetical ad for Apple Scotland’s version of Siri is very funny. 10 points for you if you can make out every word he says.
Mesmerizing Video of a Washing Machine Destruction
Link
I’m not sure why I felt so uncomfortable while watching this video. Perhaps it was due to the somewhat human face of the washing machine. I couldn’t look away as it slowly destroyed itself, at times proud, at times scared. The machines are alive I tell ya.
A Squirrel Dancing To Michael Jackson
Link
Everyone can use a little more Michael Jackson in their life. That’s why you need to watch these two videos of first a squirrel dancing to Don’t Stop Till You Get Enough and then a traffic cop dancing to Billie Jean. Just don’t watch them at work as you’ll burst out laughing.
ShamWow Guy Now Selling The Schticky
Link
This is the funniest thing I’ve seen today. The guy who sold the infamous ShamWow is now pushing a new product called the Schticky, which you can buy in a jiffy (his words not mine). Source.
Louis C.K. Live At The Beacon
About a month ago I had the great fortune to watch Louis C.K. in concert at the Beacon Theater. He was amazing as usual. Full of fresh material and comedy that made my cheeks hurt so much from laughing that at points I just wanted him to stop talking so I could get a break.
This Saturday Louis C.K. is making his entire comedy special available to download and stream for only $5. The cost is well worth the comedy. I’m sure I’ll be getting my hands on this special to rewatch his jokes.
To help promote his upcoming release Louis posted an out-take clip from his special. He talks about evolution and the oddities of human beings. Watch the clip below and be sure to grab the special on Saturday.

New Charlie Christ Video Made With Final Cut Pro X
I spent most of my Sunday cutting together a new behind the scenes clip for my friends’ film, Charlie Christ: The Gospel According to Fools.
This is the first clip that I used some Creative Commons music and I think the result came out very nicely. Simply adding some music to the video added a great deal of excitement and flair and helped me obtain a level of quality that I don’t think I’ve hit before.
It was cut in Final Cut Pro X and I took full advantage of all of its new features, such as magnetic snap and clip connections. I’m so much more fluent with FCPX than I was with Final Cut Pro 7. Sure I didn’t spend that much time trying to learn FCP7 but then again the program didn’t make it particularly fun and interesting to learn.
The video is below. Have a look and let me know what you think.
Second Charlie Christ Trailer Released
Over the weekend I took part in a special event for a movie my friends are making called ‘Charlie Christ: The Gospel According to Fools’. I’ve helped my friends a fair amount with the production of this movie and over the weekend an event was held to update everyone on its progress, as well to release the second official trailer of the movie.
Watch the second trailer for Charlie Christ: The Gospel According to Fools embedded below, and click the link beneath it to view the first trailer. Enjoy!
Stand-up Comedy
Comedy is a funny thing. I don’t mean that in an overly punny and witty way but the goal of comedy is to get people to laugh. I love getting people to laugh.
Growing up I was pretty interested in theater. I took part in a good handful of plays growing up: some were school productions and some were from local theater productions. I’ve also tried my hand at improv and sketch comedy in my high school’s improv group. The improv group was thrilling as you never knew what the other person on stage was going to say, in return you were never sure if you’d have something funny to say back.

Blizzard Sunday And Chase & Status – Blind Faith
What a wonderfully lazy Sunday. I hope you’re having fun lazing about like I am. I’m up here in New England caught up in the first blizzard of the season and enjoying my movie marathon of Despicable Me, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice (surprisingly highly enjoyable), and after dinner I believe Taken will round out the day.
While I wait for dinner I’m sitting here and listening to a new song from Chase & Status, titled ‘Blind Faith’. The album isn’t out yet, and I’m listening to the song (on repeat) from a radio rip on YouTube. Have a listen to it and let me know if it has you moving like me.
