My YouTube Channel

I made my YouTube account about two years ago and haven’t done much since its creation.  That changed last week when I uploaded a new video and made it public.

When you click over to my channel you’ll see that I have three videos uploaded.  I had an idea around a year ago to start making little shorts and upload them to see what attention I could garner.  I ended up flaking because I was afraid of all the imagined negative reactions that would result.  The two videos that remain from that period I loved too much to delete.

The video I’m drawing your attention towards today was filmed on April 6th this year, a little over two weeks ago.  I had the chance to perform three songs on the campus of UConn Stamford.  This was my first live performance playing guitar and singing and I will admit that I was nervous as all.

So click below to see the video I crudely put together in iMovie.

New Videos from Niente Peaches and LCD Soundsystem

Last weekend my friends and I crammed ourselves into a room for seven hours and worked on the Charlie Christ movie. We got a lot of work done, a lot of planning done, and we also got some video podcasts filmed. Expect to see them up on the NientePeaches website in the very near future.

What we managed to do later that day was film a performance of Amazing Grace played on an iPad. There’s an entire post up on Niente’s site. Check it out here.

For now enjoy the new video from LCD Soundsystem’s upcoming LP, This is Happening. The single is Drunk Girls and the video is strange and awesome. Have a look.

iPad and Me

On Saturday I woke up before the birds began singing to wait in line at my local Apple store for the launch of the new iPad. I was there for two reasons. The first was to buy an iPad – which I did and now own. A full review will be posted as soon as possible but for now let me say this: this device is great fun. And before you make up your mind about whether you like it or not let me offer one piece of advice: go to your local Apple store and play with it for five minutes. That’s truly the only way to get an accurate idea of whether this device is for you.

The second reason why I was at the Apple store was to film a promotional video for the Niente Peaches comedy group’s upcoming film Charlie Christ: The Gospel According to Fools. I have recently joined this ensemble as Director of Marketing. We’re in the last round of filming and the film should be complete sooner rather than later.

At the Apple store this past Saturday we got a lot of footage and last night my friend Ernie finished compiling the video. It’s now on YouTube and I’ve posted it below for easy viewing.

After you finish watching the entire thing I’d like you to remember this note: The last scene was acting. I was told to perform and there you see my Oscar-worthy performance.

Video found after the link.
