This just makes me sick to my stomach: How deep is the BP oil spill? About 5,000 ft underneath the ocean’s surface. What does that mean? Here’s an easy to understand and comprehend graphic that gives you an idea of just how freakin’ deep the oil is spewing from. Really, really, gross.
The Gulf Oil Spill is horribly depressing and damningly scary. On YouTube right now they’re advertising across the top of their website a link to a live-feed of the oil spill, underwater, as its happening. Words can’t express my emotions. My sorrow is deep.
Like everyone else, I’ve been keeping a wary eye on the Gulf of Mexico oil spill. It’s horrible, destructive, and the last attempt to fix it failed. Fortunate for me and my East Coast friends we are out of harms way – at least for the time being. Although a solution seems to have been found it may not have been soon enough to prevent the ooze from reaching a major ocean current that could carry it through the Florida Keys and up the East Coast. Not good.
