Picplz

I’ve been trying out this new service called picplz for the past couple of days. It’s a dedicated Android and iPhone app that lets you take pictures and then upload it to your own page on the picplz site. It’s simple enough that I’ve been using it semi-regularly, with the possibility of increased use should I get some friends to share with. So have a look at my picplz site and sign up if you think it looks like fun.

What a lovely calm day

What a lovely calm day.  No visitors to my site today and I am quite pleased.  Today has been utterly relaxing and I can’t wait for the nightfall to bring fun.

I had a thought today while scratching my dog:  Do dogs itch?  Thus explaining why they like being scratched?  Or do they like the human connection?  I’d be interested to see an experiment that let dogs have access to a machine that let them scratch themselves at will.  Would they prefer the machine scratching over human scratching?

The Best…and…The Worst List of All Time

A fad?  A tendency?  An inclination?  A meme?  I’m honestly not sure what to call it, but I am saying the phrases “The Best!” and “The Worst!” a whole lot more than I used to.

Last night I ate some Famous Amos Cookies.  What’d I say after my third cookie?  ”These are the best!”

Two days ago it was very cold and windy.  What did I say when I went outside?  ”This weather is the worst!”

Like most phrases I’m sure I will eventually stop using them.  However until that time comes I’m going to start collecting examples of things that are “The Best!” and things that are “The Worst!”.

You can help!  If you have any ideas and examples of Best things and Worst things let me know in the comments!  Together we’ll make “The Best…and…The Worst List of All Time!”

A Friendly Friday Blog Update

The latest incarnation of my blogging career, this blog you’re reading right now, was started on January 23rd this year. By my count that’s a little over two months of blogging with a grand total of 23 posts written so far.

I’m having fun.

The past times that I have attempted to blog I didn’t last very long. I think a few may have been online and accessible for over three-months but the frequency of posts were nowhere near as consistent. Not only that: my enthusiasm hasn’t waned and I am enjoying finding topics to discuss. Having somewhere to output my overflowing thoughts keeps me productive and sane. It hurts trying to remember everything.
