This is something that I definitely want but would never use. I’d be way too paranoid that my iPhone would fall and break to use this thing. Still, a great idea and a great name.

Sometimes I find our society’s recent obsession with vampires to be quite tiresome. Other times I find it to be pretty cool. Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter is one example of an awesome use of vampires.
Originally a book that is now being made into a movie, the first trailer was just released today. The trailer was all nice and ho-hum in the beginning but the last 30 seconds really sealed the deal for me.
It seems that cherry trees wasn’t all that Abraham Lincoln cut down…
iPad 3 Coming Soon

The biggest news item today is from none other than that little electronics company Apple Inc. According to AllThingsD Apple is planning to launch the iPad 3 in the first week of March. This isn’t that surprising as the iPad 2 was released during the same time last year. What remains a surprise is what the iPad 3 will contain.
Current rumors point to a quad-core processor and longer battery life. I’m hoping for one more surprise that’ll make me yearn that much harder to pick one up.

Today’s been a pretty slow day. The definite highlight was the release of the trailer for the upcoming Bourne Legacy film starring Jeremy Renner. I think Renner will make a great Bourne. So long as the film keeps the spirit of the earlier ones it has all the hallmarks of another great action flick. I got goosebumps watching this trailer. Wonderful and delicious goosebumps.

Groupon and LivingSocial: My E-mail Friends
I just unsubscribed from my Groupon and LivingSocial coupon e-mails. I’m sad to say that in recent memory none of the deals have been appropriate for me. More often than not the e-mails head straight to my trash bin. A few deals I let sit in my inbox for a few hours, giving myself some time to decide if I should trash it or buy it. However in the past 2-3 months all those deals end up going straight to the trash.
Throughout the entire time that I’ve subscribed to Groupon & LivingSocial I’ve purchased around 5 deals. Those 5 deals were purchased on 5 separate occasions. That means that from all the daily e-mails I’ve received only 5 have piqued my interest enough to buy. The ratio of e-mails received to deals purchased is incredibly poor.

I’m not sure why I felt so uncomfortable while watching this video. Perhaps it was due to the somewhat human face of the washing machine. I couldn’t look away as it slowly destroyed itself, at times proud, at times scared. The machines are alive I tell ya.
