Verizon iPhone Update

These Verizon iPhone rumors keep appearing.  And I keep eating them up.  Oh how I yearn for the Verizon iPhone.

In today’s edition of “Verizon and Apple Sitting in a Tree: i-P-h-o-n-e-y” I have one update.

Summarized nicely from MacRumors:

Pegatron has been contracted to make a CDMA iPhone, insiders claimed today. The scoop is short but would have the ASUS manufacturing arm building phones that would likely go to Verizon and possibly other carriers as well. A deal would help Pegatron take off as a major supplier, DigiTimes said.

But this is not the first time Pegatron has been singled out as the manufacturer for a Verizon-compatible iPhone. The Wall Street Journal first revealed that possibility back in March.

The WSJ believes that the next iPhone will launch this summer, but the CDMA (Verizon) iPhone won’t begin manufacturing until September.

That makes some nice sense to me.  Keep an announcement of a Verizon iPhone secret until September to discourage people from waiting.

Well I guess I’m just going to either wait for an early surprise announcement, wait until September for the announcement, or look silly waiting for a ghost.  And for the record: I aint afraid of no ghost.

The Best…and…The Worst List of All Time

A fad?  A tendency?  An inclination?  A meme?  I’m honestly not sure what to call it, but I am saying the phrases “The Best!” and “The Worst!” a whole lot more than I used to.

Last night I ate some Famous Amos Cookies.  What’d I say after my third cookie?  ”These are the best!”

Two days ago it was very cold and windy.  What did I say when I went outside?  ”This weather is the worst!”

Like most phrases I’m sure I will eventually stop using them.  However until that time comes I’m going to start collecting examples of things that are “The Best!” and things that are “The Worst!”.

You can help!  If you have any ideas and examples of Best things and Worst things let me know in the comments!  Together we’ll make “The Best…and…The Worst List of All Time!”

Banksy’s Exit Through The Gift Shop

If you do not know who Banksy is here’s a quick summary:  He is a pseudonymous British graffiti artist, internationally famous for his graffiti or “street art” due to its powerful imagery.  A quick gloss over his Wikipedia page shows many of his famous works, some of which you may have seen.

Banksy is involved in a new film that is currently being screened at limited locations.  Although it indirectly serves as a documentary about Banksy the true story is about the film-maker, Thierry Guetta.  Through the story of Guetta the audience is able to gain an understanding of the man as well as who Banksy is.

Personally I have not yet seen this film.  However from reviews I have read and the accolades of friends I have a very small doubt that this film will be a true joy to watch.  As such – if you get the chance – I’m encouraging you to go see it.  And if you do, let me know how you enjoyed it.
